- Quality Standards: - Our blades are made from hand forging and have been tested under a variety of application which will offer professional performance in categories of toughness, strength (lateral stress) and edge honing and holding ability. In a 5 spot Rockwell test our blades will average near or close to 55-58 which offers a perfect balances between its toughness and strength.
- Handmade Damascus: Blade is Hand Forged with 1095 & 15N20 High and Low Carbon Steel with over 252 Layers. These two alloys are folded together many times, and then dipped in Ferric Chloride which eats away at the different metals at different rates showing the Damascus pattern. This is genuine folded steel, not laser printed.

How our Damascus is made: - All our Damascus is real and not just an acid etch. Damascus is a mixture of 1095HC and 15N20 nickel carbon. You heat them up together and then fold the bar over and over to get the desired layers, ours are 384 layers. Then you burn the blade in acid, and it turns the nickel satin color and the high carbon turns blackish gray. This is how the layers are exposed to show the layers of the new steel created coined "Damascus". All Damascus is acid etched to show the layers. If you high polish the metal it will be shinny satin like all steels. Only after you burn the sides of the blade with acid do you see the layers of the two steels. After we make our knives we high polish the handles and put an edge on the blade. The high polishing buffs off the acid burned layer of the handle, and the blade edge is sharpened and the acid burned edge becomes satin. Our blades are made from high quality Damascus steel. It is Custom made only for you. The blade of this hunting knife is the result of the saw-blade effect at microscopic level, allowing the blade to keep cutting while other blades have dulled. The Blade of this knife is 1095 and 15N20 high steel true layers (512). Blade has given excellent heat treatment and rock well hardness of the blade along its edge is 55 to 58 HRC.
