KleenWater "high quality - low cost aftermarket" substitute cartridge set compatible with Ionics Micro Max 6500 reverse osmosis system. The water filter cartridge set includes (1) KleenWater KW-MAX-1 sediment filter which is an aftermarket substitute compatible with Ionics filter cartridge 47-126001PRI. Also included is (1) KleenWater KW-MAX-3 which is an aftermarket substitute filter compatible with Ionics filter cartridge 47-125001PRI. The KleenWater KW-MAX-4 carbon block filter is an aftermarket substitute filter compatible with Ionics filter cartridge 47-227001PRI-A.
The cartridge 3-set should be changed annually to adequately protect the reverse osmosis module and keep the system at peak performance. The module (membrane) should be changed when the total dissolved solids number becomes elevated or permeate water production is diminished. One of these circumstances is typically realized between 3-5 years.
